We have recently fulfilled a long-held dream and bought an apartment in Condado de Alhama. Whilst an exciting prospect, there was also a certain amount of trepidation as we had read horror stories about the overall process.
We used PALS solicitors to handle the purchase, giving them Power of Attorney and also asked them to prepare Spanish wills.
We were absolutely delighted with the service we received, any query we had was answered almost immediately by Hana (and we had a lot of queries), appointments were made with Notaries to meet our availability and the process was completed within 8 weeks.
There are probably cheaper options available, but for peace of mind and professionalism we can unreservedly recommend PALS.

We used PALS for purchasing a Spanish property. We were able to communicate with Tanya through emails on a daily basis and she always answered promptly during a difficult sale from a property management company. Sure there were errors made and lessons learned, however PALS were very reasonably priced and overall had a good experience with them. Not 5 stars, but if you're on a tight budget I would recommend them. Also very decent to deal with in terms of aftercare support etc.
