DO NOT USE! Jeff was my broker and I ended up paying him all his commission after the sale of my business (a big mistake). The buyer was supposed to pay me a lump sum and then the rest over a 5 year period. The buyer who Jeff vetted ended up suing me. Jeff didn't have my back in fact he threw me under the bus without even knowing the facts during a mediation for the lawsuit.

Why would he do that since I considered him a friend and hired him to sell my business? I can only surmise that Jeff wanted to stay on the good side of the current owner who would someday sell the business and that maybe Jeff thought he could be the broker to list the business down the road. I obviously didn't have anything to offer Jeff since I no longer had a business I was not of any value to him. Not the way to run a business in my book.

Additionally, Jeff refused to give me back some of his commission earned. I asked him if he would be willing to give back some commission money because now at this point since I didn't get (x) amount for my business I received (y) amount. I had paid Jeff based on the total sales price for what I received the day of closing as well as an amount that I didn't receive at closing but was supposed to receive over the next 5 years. Due to the lawsuit I only received the smallest percentage of the 5 year payments that I had already paid Jeff commissions. I also ended up settling the lawsuit in mediation and had a large loss.

At the end of the day, I am 500k less in my pocket due to not getting the 5 year payment and the amount settled for in mediation. That converts to $50,000 in commissions that Jeff has in his pocket and refuses to give me any of that money back.

Unless this is a situation that you want to find yourself in DO NOT HIRE JEFF OR CRESTONE BUSINESS GROUP! They also like to make other 1 star reviews go away mysteriously, I guess they just haven't figured out how to remove this one. I know of at least 3 other 1 star reviews that have now disappeared. Seems more than a little shady. Do yourself a favor and headaches by finding another broker to sell your business.
