I was asked by my daughter to sit in on her therapy session today. It was the worst mistake I could of made. Instead of being welcomed and thanked for coming kortney went right in on me in a disrespectful way. She had a stank stuck up look on her face and told me how she’s straight forward and I said and so am I. She must of thought her degrees was going to impress and she could talk at me , no talk down to me but that wasn’t going to fly with me. She has no kids but she sat in judgement of my 23 year old to get us to communicate better. That isn’t how you do it by talking down to the mom. I didn’t even have to be there but I at least came because I Love my daughter. I feel she has said without ever meeting me I would not like her and she has said I don’t want my daughter to grow, I’m keeping her from growing and she’s living in my house. All that I’ve done for my daughter she has either needed or asked for my help but I’m keeping her from growing. She prejudged because she’d never talked with me. So it seems she would be giving assignments to my daughter to work on instead of speaking bad of me. To me she try’s to start mess by repeating things or just saying to much. I told her she does not know me at all and I walked out. She put her hand out as if I could leave and I did. Rude and disrespectful and very unprofessional is the treatment I got. And I did like her, no reason not to but now I don’t care for the way she treated me at all. She should know you can’t believe everything you hear and just help my daughter and not by telling her everything she wants to hear. So right now my daughter continues there but without my help. Not because of me but because of kortney. I wasn’t to be in there to try to boss me or change me, my daughter is her client and not me. So I’m extremely upset the way she treated and talked to me someone that came to sit in and hear what’s going on and it went way left. Not professional at all

I did the online intake no response I called twice & left two messages & no return call either. I suppose that was confirmation that this wasn't a good fit.
